FSA – FIRELAB Test
Our E90 transparent fire rated screen was tested at FIRELAB on 29 June 2021.
Rig in furnace. Ready for the test.
Start-up procedures in progress. 5 Minutes into test.
30 Minutes into test. Furnace at 830 0C.
65 Minutes into test. Furnace at 950 0C.
95 Minutes – Glass is bulging outwards, but still intact.
95 Minutes – Furnace at 1018 Degrees.
Frame deformation, 18 minutes into the test. However, frame remains structurally intact.
30 Minutes after test. Glass bulging 370mm outwards like a balloon.
45 Minutes after test termination. Glass cracked during cool-down period. Glass was literally de-toughened during the test.
